Access data

Our hosting provider stores server log files (page visited, time, data volume, referrer, browser, operating system, IP address) for statistical purposes and to run the site securely (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest.

Cookies and fonts

Only technically necessary cookies are used (e.g. language selection). No tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are served from our own server – no connection to Google Fonts.

Contact

If you contact us by phone or email, your details are stored to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) b/f GDPR) and deleted once the matter is settled, unless statutory retention periods apply. No data is passed to third parties without your consent.

Social media links

Links to Facebook, Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and TikTok (TikTok Technology Ltd.) are plain links, not embedded plugins. No data is transferred to these providers until you click a link.

Google Maps

The directions page embeds Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin). Loading the map transfers your IP address and possibly location data to Google (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). See Google privacy policy.

OpenTable

Online reservations are handled by OpenTable GmbH, Schumannstr. 27, 60325 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The data you enter (name, phone, email, party size, date, notes) is transmitted to OpenTable to process your booking (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). See OpenTable privacy policy.

Google reviews (Trustindex)

We display our Google reviews via a Trustindex.io widget (Trustindex Kft., Budapest, Hungary). Loading the widget transfers your IP address to Trustindex (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).

Chat assistant

Your question is matched against our FAQ on our server. Unanswered questions are stored without personal reference so we can improve the answers. Please do not enter personal data in the chat (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – for Rhineland-Palatinate: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz.
